Are you a 2D Artist who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and working with others in a collaborative environment? Are you looking for a position where you can play a major part in the visual creation of the games we create? If this describes you, please get in touch with us to talk about the permanent, full-time position of 2D Artist at Big Blue Bubble on the My Singing Monsters team.
In this position, these are the things you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Art Lead and Production team to create exciting and imaginative content for My Singing Monsters.
- Creating amazing 2D animation ready art assets based on concept art and direction.
- Quickly iterate concept drawings.
- Evaluating and match visual styles for our game My Singing Monsters.
- Participating in art design review meetings and sharing your ideas, feedback and opinions.
- Continuing to enhance your art skills by keeping aware of industry trends and techniques, learning new software packages and traditional art methods.
To be an effective team member, you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in 2D Art, Animation or related field.
- 3 years experience as an 2D Artist, preferably in games.
- Solid understanding of perspective, composition, character design, colour theory, visual effects and lighting.
- Proficient in Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of the game development process.

- Imaginative and out-of-the-box thinking.
- An aptitude to learn new techniques and best practices.
- Have an interest and enthusiasm for mobile games.
- Ability to meet deadlines.

Compensation
$58,500.00 per year
